Bilingual Evening Cleaning Floater (Carmel area)

Job Description:

The Floater position involves filling in temporarily to help our evening cleaning teams at office buildings mostly around Carmel when someone is scheduled to be away or as needed. This person will be responding to requests from management to fill roles and perform a range of cleaning tasks. The pay is $15.50/hour, and the employee will receive a cell phone reimbursement of $23.07/per pay. If this person is successful as a Floater, there is potential opportunity as an Evening Supervisor. The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Spanish.
The expectations of a Floater to be successful at Marquis are as follows:

• Be willing to work a varying schedule or shift as requested by management. The evening shift schedule may vary based on the needs of the accounts, but typically involves working 4-6 hours, but all shifts vary from 5-11pm, Monday through Friday
• Able to lift 10 to 50 pounds, and must be able to continuously stand, walk, bend, and lift for an entire shift, up to 6 hours
• Effectively communicate with coworkers, account personnel and Marquis management via phone call, text, and email
• Respond to calls, texts and/or emails on a timely manner (and provide information to managers on key issues)
• Grow and learn new processes and protocols in the cleaning industry
• Manage your time and attendance through Paylocity's mobile application
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment
• Perform a wide variety of cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, spot cleaning and any other task assigned by the manager
• Empty trash from all trash receptacles
• Clean and sterilize restroom facilities
• Stock supplies upon delivery and keep supplies organized
• Maintain equipment assigned in proper working condition
• Adapt to changing policies, procedures, and/or duties as directed by managementPersonal Appearance and Hygiene/Uniform Policy:
  • You are expected to use good judgment in the maintenance of your personal hygiene and professional wardrobe
