Machine Operator

Off Shift $18-$25/HR 401k match+ bonus potential

Attica, IN

Overview:

Aegis Worldwide is currently partnered with a steel company that is located in Attica, IN, just west of the Indianapolis area. This manufacturer is seeking an individual that can set up and operate conventional and special purpose machines to machine castings to customer specifications.

Responsibilities:

Ensures that castings are machined to print specifications.
Uses gauges commonly associated with machining type work.
Reads and writes programs for machining processes.
Performs daily TPM maintenance.
Inspects all lifting devices for condition and wear.

Requirements:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Manufacturing/classroom training at tool manufacturers or technical school.
On-the-job training until competence is shown in machining castings.
Blue print reading.
