First Mid Bank & Trust is actively working a multi-year project to rewrite a 30-year-old system that is integral to our Agriculture "Farm" Management team. The software has been deployed in a parallel environment and getting ready to convert to the new system as production. However, there are several more sprints of enhancements and bugs that need to be resolved over the next 6-12 months to finalize the new system. We are seeking a contractor who is fluent in C# program development to supplement our IT staff to assist in completing the project.



Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• 
  
• Responsible for addressing Jira tickets that are assigned in order to design, develop, test, and/or deploy C# solutions for the Farm system.
  
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
  
  
  Qualifications
  
  
  
  Education:
  
  
  • 
    
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
    
  • 5+ years' experience in this field or equivalent education/work experience
    
  • Strong understanding of the Agile software development life cycle including design, development, testing, deployment, and support responsibilities
    
    
    
    
    Skills:
    
    
    • 
      
    • Experience with Blazor Telerik is a bonus
      
    • Agriculture industry experience is a bonus
      
    • Loan Origination experience is a bonus
      
    • Able to handle problems in a professional manner.
      
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.
      
    • Fast learner with system aptitude.
      
    • Good priority management skills to allocate time to the appropriate efforts.
