Medical Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a
travel nursing job in Bloomington, Indiana. Job Description &

travelers. Travel Medsurg/Short Say Observation Unit RN is needed
to start ASAP in a Hospital in Indiana for a 13 week assignment.
Shifts consist of 7am-7pm and every 3rd weekend. OT is offered, but
not guaranteed. Utilize self-scheduling. Schedules out 6 week.
Holidays are worked into a rotation with the perm staff. There are
2 Medsurg units 2 South and 3 North. Travelers will be expected to
float between both Medsurg units if needed. Certifications required
- BLS. 2 years of experience in specialty is required. Number of
Beds - 16. Ratios are 1:4-5. Medication system is Accudose. EMR is
Cerner. Charge Nurse - Yes and they take a light patient load. Unit
Orientation - 1 day classroom. 2 days on the floor. Nurse Aides:
Yes 2 days, 1 nights. Secretary 7am - 11pm. Scrub Color - Red top
and black pants with all black shoes. Red tops are embroidered and
must be purchased from the hospital, but can borrow until then.
Telemetry - RNs are not expected to read strips. Vents - None. IV
Team - Vascular access team for difficult sticks only. RT 24/7 -
Yes. Pharmacy 24/7 - Yes. Types of patients - Medical and surgical
patients. 12 - 72 hours observation status patients. GYN, abd, ENT,
light ortho post-surgical. Medsurg overflow. This is one of the
most popular states to travel in with lots of things to do and
